Association of Citizens \u201cContra Margum\u201d \u2013 Kovin succesfully organised My Tree \u2013 002 project on 22nd<\/sup> and 29th<\/sup> March 2025. This time, our members and supporters decided to enrich the playground by the “PIK playground”, and well as \u201c\u0110ura Jak\u0161i\u0107\u201d and \u201cJovan Jovanovi\u0107 Zmaj\u201d Primary Schools by planting perennial trees and roses.<\/p>\n\n\n

At the playground, 10 trees have been planted:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. A sugar maple tree, donated by Savka Teji\u0107;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. A sugar maple tree, donated by Ivanka Dimitrijevi\u0107 \u2013 Barstra;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. A sugar maple tree, donated by Lav Krivo\u0161i\u0107;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Koelreuteria, donated by Kosta Stefanov;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. A linden tree, donated by Ilija Golubovi\u0107;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. A Japanese cherry tree, donated by An\u0111a Radovi\u0107 and Slobodanka Dobri\u0107;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. A Japanese cherry tree, donated anonymously;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. A Japanese cherry tree, donated by Mila Bo\u017einovski;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. A Japanese cherry tree, donated by Vuk \u017degarac;<\/li>\n\n\n\n

    A former student of \u201c\u0110ura Jak\u0161i\u0107\u201d Primary School donated funds for planting 50 roses in two circular field in front of the very building.<\/p>\n\n\n

    In the schoolyard of \u201c\u0110ura Jak\u0161i\u0107\u201d Primary School a koelreuteria tree was planted, which is a donation by the members of\u00a0 the Association of Citizens \u201cContra Margum\u201d Kovin.<\/p>\n\n\n

    In the schoolyard of \u201cJovan Jovanovi\u0107 Zmaj\u201d Primary School, an aronia berry tree has been planted which was donated by our young neighbour Jak\u0161a \u0106osi\u0107, whose great-great grandfather Stevan \u0106osi\u0107 was a janitor from 1953 to 1970 in this school and lived with his family in the ancillary building by which this tree was planted.<\/p>\n\n\n

    During the \u201cMy Tree – 002\u201d action funds were raised for planting 50 roses and a total of 12 roses, which is an increase by 100% in comparison with the number of trees planted in the action \u201cMy Tree – 001\u201d in November 2024. During this action, the number of members of the Association \u201cContra Margum\u201d has increased by as much as 20% which means that an increasing number of citizens recognises our activism as socially beneficial and desire to support and join us, for which we are most grateful. Our special thanks go to the Kovin Town Hall, \u201cKovinski komunalac\u201d (Public Utility Company); \u201c\u0110ura Jak\u0161i\u0107\u201d and \u201cJovan Jovanovi\u0107 Zmaj\u201d Primary Schools staff, \u201cBra\u0107a Mrzi\u0107\u201d warehouse, \u201cTilija\u201d plant nursery, as well as all the donors, supporters and members of the \u201cContra Margum\u201d Association of Citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    We hope that many citizens will enjoy the shade of the trees and the smell of the roses in the future and they will wish to join us In order to make our Kovin an even more attractive town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
