The aim of the initiative is fostering the love of books (especially in children), extending the lifespan of the books by exchange and gifting and increasing awareness of sustainalbility and reusing.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/contramargum.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/image-79-768x1024.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3321\" srcset=\"https:\/\/contramargum.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/image-79-768x1024.png 768w, https:\/\/contramargum.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/image-79-225x300.png 225w, https:\/\/contramargum.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/image-79.png 1152w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">A total of 314 titles were collected, 82 of which will be donated to \u201cVuk Karad\u017ei\u0107\u201d Library, 24 of them will form a small \u201clibrary\u201d in Mali Park caf\u00e9 in Kovin, while the rest will be donated to the libraries of Special Hospital for Psychiatric Diseases and primary and secondary schools in our town. <\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/contramargum.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/image-81-1024x768.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3323\" srcset=\"https:\/\/contramargum.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/image-81-1024x768.png 1024w, https:\/\/contramargum.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/image-81-300x225.png 300w, https:\/\/contramargum.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/image-81-768x576.png 768w, https:\/\/contramargum.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/image-81-400x300.png 400w, https:\/\/contramargum.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/image-81.png 1536w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">On the same day a workshop took place where the pupils of \u201cDesanka Maksimovi\u0107\u201d Primary School Kovin used all their imagination and dedication to make boomarks from recycled materials, thus sending symbolic messages to future readers. The bookmark is placed inside a gifted book or taken home as a reminder of sustainable reading.
