At the Europe Challenge summit in the city of Milan in Italy, library teams and citizens’ association from across Europe gathered to learn together, connect and come up with new ways of collaboration.
We proudly presented ZelenGrad – our creative programme that connects art, ecology and joint participation of the citizens. Over three days we were learning how to present our ideas in a simple and understandable way for everyone and on that occasion we created the ZelenGrad Manifesto – our message of the change which begins with imagination and grows through care and creativity. We had already begun implementing the project in Kovin, but the summit provided us with a lot of knowledge and skills for further work.
We met so many wonderful people and made contacts for future collaborations, especially with colleagues from the region. Italy filled us with inspiration and new energy to continue building ZelenGrad – rooted in our community, but also connected with the wider European context.
