On Thursday, 18th December 2025, in collaboration with “Vuk Karadžić” Library, within our common project ZelenGrad, a workshop entitled “Everyone Deserves to Enjoy the Holidays” was held. The coordinators of the ZelenGrad project, Jovana Vujović Krivošić and Vesna Dragojević designed that during this workshop primary school students should make New Year’s decorations and greetings together with a few Kovin artists, library staff, local media representatives and “Contra Margum” Association members and supporters.
These decorations and cards, together with some more which are to be made in the Household classes in “Jovan Jovanović Zmaj” Primary School, will be offered at the New Year’s Market Sale for charity, with all income being allocated for school trip of the children whose parents are unable to afford it. We truly regret that the number of children was significantly smaller than planned due to flu and we hope that all who were unable to come are feeling well, and another opportunity to gather again is planned for end of January 2026. During today’s workshop we have collected clothes that we will donate to the Red Cross in Kovin and the Banjaš family from Mramorak.
